K. L. Smyth and K. Lynn Smythe are pseudonyms of Kelly Smith.

Ms. Smith resides in a restored 1847 house in beautiful downtown Troy, Ohio.  She is a
graduate of Ohio University in Athens.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science
and Political Communication in 1995.   Kelly recently ended ten years working in Politics and
Government to pursue her love of writing.  

Current writing interests include writing political suspense and historicals.  She is currently working
on several writing projects; a contemporary romantic suspense entitled, Destiny In Ice and her public
debut of The Black Countess & the Brotherhood of the Cross Bones available on the Gallimaufry
One CD. She is also working on a fictional story based on the real-life World War II prisoner of
war diaries of Brig. Gen. Kenneth Torrance of Guelph, Ontario Canada.    

Some of Kelly's favorite works include Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series, anything by Kathy Reichs
and Bernard Cornwell.  Kelly is a member of the Gallimaufry Writer's Group led by published
author Beth Daniels.
